If your unit is set to Simple Mode you will not have this option at the bottom of the screen select Advanced Mode and follow the confirmations to activate it.
Regional Settings

In Regional Settings you can easily adjust the program language, voice profile, and whether you want you units in Kilometers/meter, Miles/feet, or Miles/yards. Our main concern in Regional Settings is the Time and Time Zone settings option.

If these options are not set correctly you may find you unit displaying the incorrect time, please set the options as pictured.

Next we need to calibrate the GPS receiver click back to the settings menu and select the arrow in the bottom right corner to access the second page of the settings.

Then choose the first option GPS

Now untick the GPS enabled Box, after a few seconds select the Autodetect option in the bottom right.

The unit will scan for the correct COM PORT and BAUD RATE

When calibration is finished select OK

Now head to the Map and select the Signal Icon in the bottom Left

Select GPS from the bottom right

This will open the Signal display from here you should see plenty of Green dots representing connected satellites The signal bars on the right tell you how strong the signal is the more Green dots and Green bars the more accurate the calculations will be.
