How to Get Your Peugeot 308/408 Car Clock and factory PDC work with XTRONS Radio

Postby xtrons » Thu Feb 20, 2025 7:34 am

Some users have experienced that, after installing an XTRONS Android radio in a Peugeot 308/408, the vehicle's dashboard display does not show the correct time. Additionally, the PDC (parking sensors) no longer emit sounds when reversing.

If you are experiencing similar issues, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve them.

Step 1: Check CAN Bus Connection
Ensure the CAN bus box is properly connected.
Verify that the CAN cable from the CAN bus box is plugged into the correct socket on the back of the unit.

Step 2: Adjust CAN Type Settings
By default, the CAN type setting is 127.PSA (Rcz), set the CAN type to 284.PSA SCR (Rzc).
1. Navigate to Settings → Car Infotainment → About Device
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner
3. Enter code 8878 and click OK
4. Under this CAN type, select from the available sub-options. Test different sub-options, save your settings, and restart the device after each change.

Adjust the settings as needed.

Step 4: Ensure PDC Sound Works
The included CAN bus box has a built-in buzzer to output PDC sounds when reversing.
Check that the CAN bus box is correctly connected.
If there is still no sound, try different CAN type sub-options as mentioned in Step 2.

These steps should help restore communication with your dashboard display and ensure PDC sound works properly. If the issue persists, feel free to contact us at [email protected]
