GPS Antenna Installation Guide for XTRONS Head Units

The GPS antenna that comes with the XTRONS unit needs to be in constant contact with the GPS satellites, it should be mounted in a way that there won't be a lot of interference with its signal.
Method 1:
We recommend placing the GPS antenna on the top of the dash as level as possible, the 3M sticker will keep the antenna in place with a solid connection.

Method 2:
You can also consider mounting the GPS antenna in the vehicles’ A-pillar as the GPS signal may be shielded if your windshields come with metallic window tint.

You'll then need to route the antenna wire along with the dashboard or floorboard or through a window or door seal.(Note: Please do not fit the GPS antenna upside down on the windshield or somewhere that will disturb the driver)
