QAM1245 - Strange Issues

Hi I've 3 very strange issues that have developed over the last month / 6 weeks on my head unit.
It's a QAM1245 installed in a 2015 Mercedes and is currently running:
HMI: Xtrons.G6.A.D.Q.F.01.2024.09.18. 9.18
MCU: BECG6.230911(W)
MEDIA: HC_V2.0.0_23030306_1430(v1.96)
CAN YX-BZ2-GD V209,KF,504,D6,82N7;000
BTV: BT.24.01.24.1747(then the mac address)

1) Waze: will not connect to the internet, it was working, then it would only work if I had a vpn connected, now nothing.
2) My apps cannot access internal storage, despite having the allow set for these apps in the settings. (specifically trying to restore settings for Agama, and Symfonium, OpenVPN)
3) Despite being given permission to install apps from unauthorised sources, when I try ot install APK files, they now all fail. I've had a look at the advanced factory menu, and "install" is set to disabled, but when I select "enabled", it asks for another code, and I cannot figure out what it might be. I've tried all the usual suspects.

Is there a firmware update that will allow me to reset to full stock? I've tried to do a factory reset, but the apps still behave the same way.
