Zlink/MultiPlay App - Wireless Carplay
To use CarPlay on our units is fairly simple. All you need is an Iphone with CarPlay functionality, and Xtrons unit. Zlink/MultiPlay app allows you to connect your phone with a car radio by Bluetooth, and Mobile Hotspot. Before you try to connect your phone, the app needs to be activated through an internet connection. Please provide an internet connection to the unit, and open the Zlink/MultiPlay app to activate.
To start, Make sure the wifi on your phone is ON and NOT connected to any network.
1. Open Zlink/MultiPlay App (The app may look different, but functionality is exactly the same)

2. Open Bluetooth settings on your phone
Connect the phone to the device (GOCSDK)(The name might be different on different Xtrons Units.)

3. Make sure the CarPlay function is ON
After connecting, tap (i) on the connected device on your phone, and make sure the CarPlay function is on. You might be asked by a phone in the meantime if you want to use carplay.

4. Once bluetooth is connected, Xtrons Unit will start sharing WiFi Hotspot
Since you connected the bluetooth, the rest of the operation will be quite automatic. Now, you will be able to see the shared hotspot on the list of the wifi networks on your phone. The phone should connect with it automatically (no password needed) In case it didn’t connect automatically, just tap on the visible AndroidAP network.

5. Once the wifi is connected, the Zlink/MultiPlay app will start connecting to a phone.

Now, You should be able to use your phone in carplay mode on the Xtrons unit

Note: Built-in Carplay is only Wireless. You won't be able to use the Zlink app for Wired Apple Carplay. To do this, you will need a dongle. The instructions can be found here:

Note: Bluetooth cannot be used when carplay is in use.
Note: Do not use or alter any wifi settings while connected.
Zlink/MultiPlay App - Wired Android Auto
To use CarPlay on our units is fairly simple. All you need is an Android Phone with Android Auto functionality, and Xtrons unit. Zlink/MultiPlay app allows you to connect your phone with a car radio by USB cable. Before you try to connect your phone, the app needs to be activated through an internet connection. Please provide an internet connection to the unit, and open the Zlink/MultiPlay app to activate.
1. Download Android Auto on your phone
Download and install the Android Auto app on your phone, some XTRONS units may have the apps built in already.
This app can be downloaded from the Google play store.

Note: Make sure you give it all required permissions.
2. Open Zlink/MultiPlay app and plug your phone by USB to the unit
Once the app is successfully installed on the phone, you can go on and plug the phone by USB cable to the unit. Zlink/Multiplay will automatically connect with Android Auto and allow you to use your phone on the unit screen.

Zlink/MultiPlay App - Wireless Android Auto
Some of our units allow for Wireless Android Auto connection.
1. Download Android Auto on your phone
Download and install the Android Auto app on your phone, some XTRONS units may have the apps built in already.

3. Open Bluetooth settings on your phone
Connect the phone to the device (CAR KIT)(The name might be different on different Xtrons Units.)

4. Once bluetooth is connected, Xtrons Unit will start sharing WiFi Hotspot
Since you connected the bluetooth, the rest of the operation will be quite automatic. Now, you will be able to see the shared hotspot on the list of the wifi networks on your phone.
