In order to provide you with the best in-car entertainment solutions, XTRONS has worked hard on the communication between your car and the XTRONS vehicle specific head units for Mercedes-Benz.
XTRONS has now developed the dual channel CANbus solutions for the below model numbers.
The dual channel function is applicable for all of the following XTRONS Mercedes-Benz Infotainment Systems: PF75M245A, PF75M245AP, PF75M164A, PF75M164AP, PF75M209A, PF75M209AP, PF75M211A, PF75M211AP, PF75M220A, PF75M220AP, PF75M203A, PF75M203AP, PG75M211A, PG75M245A, PG75M203A, PF72M203GT, PF7M245GT, PF72M245GT, PF72M211GT, PF72M164GT, PF7M211S, PF7M203S, PF7M245S.
The following information can now be retained:
Steering Wheel Control: Take control of your music safely on the move.
Headlight Control: When the vehicles headlights are on, the buttons on the XTRONS unit will illuminate while the head unit are off. XTRONS units can also switch to night mode when the headlights are on.
ACC: The stereo will automatically turn on when you start the ignition.
LCD Screen: XTRONS units working mode can be displayed on the vehicles' information display.
Reversing Control: The stereo allows automatic switching to reversing mode without the need for additional wiring.
Due to the different design of the various Mercedes-Benz models, we had to make some adjustments to the CANbus box dial switch to enable the correct CANbus function. In the below table, you will see the information on how to adjust the provided CANbus box dial switch and for which vehicles the adjustment is required.
