How to Get Rid of Static Noise in Car Audio Speakers

Why Does my XTRONS car stereo for Audi have so much static?
Usually, sound is sent to the car speakers using wires with electrical signals, which can be easily distorted by other signals from electrical devices like power lines. There are a lot of different things in your car that generate electrical fields and generate different levels and types of noise and static.
Tracking Down the Source of Static and Noise
Pull the unit from the dashboard while it is working:
If the noise fade after pulling the receiver from the dashboard then the static noise is being radiated into your car sound system. This can be solved using a magnetic shielding foil
Check RCA cables:
To determine if the noise is coming from the amp, please check the RCA cables to the amp’s input and see how they are routed. If any portion of the amp is in contact with bare metal, you will need to relocate it or mount it on a non-conductive spacer made of wood or rubber.
How to cure?
it’s possible to isolate and fix the source of virtually any type of car audio static. Mostly, the noise is only present when the engine is on, which changes in pitch along with the RPM of the engine, then the problem probably has to do with your alternator, usually, installing ground loop isolators or filter can cancel out background noise.

Solution 1:
Install ground loop isolator to RCA cables( these following models can be easily found on eBay:

Step#2:
Unplug the RCA cables from the amplifier. Plug the red and white RCA connectors into the color-coded -- jacks on the ground loop isolator.
Step#3:
Plug the red and white RCA cables extending from the ground loop isolator into the amplifier.

Solution 2:
Install the harness adapter with impedance converter:
Order this harness adapter from XTRONS:
Part number: AK/INIB/NRCBL
Applicable XTRONS units for Audi: IN series, IB series, other series while the 40pin connector is used to connect to the vehicle

Step # 1:
Turn off the unit, locate the amps and the harness cables
Step#2:
Remove the ISO harness from the XTRONS unit.
Step #3:
Plug the red and white RCA connectors into color-coded jacks on the harness adapter:

Step #4:
Connect the harness adapter to the original harness of XTRONS unit, the AK/INIB/NRCBL will perform as an extension harness able here. Plug the harness back to the unit.

If that doesn’t fix the problem, or the ground was good, the amp the unit itself may be faulty.
